2 Cups Whole Milk
1/3 Cup White Sugar
3 Cardamom Pods
2 Peppercorns
1 Cinnamon Stick
Small nub of Ginger
2-3 Whole Cloves
2 Cups Water
4 Tbsp Loose-leaf Black Tea
Boil the water and pour over the tea leaves to make a strong black tea. Let this steep for 10 minutes.
While this steeps, crack the cardamom pods and the peppercorns, and slice the ginger. In a pot, mix these ingredients with the milk, sugar, cinnamon, and cloves, and let this simmer.
Combine tea and milk mixture in the same pot, bring to a boil, and then let simmer for another 10 minutes.
Strain and serve.
