Classic Cinnamon Buns

For the Dough:
4 cups Flour
1 cup Milk
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
1/3 cup softened Butter
1 Tsp Salt
2 Eggs
1.5 Tbsp Yeast

For the Filling:
1/3 cup Butter
1 cup Brown Sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp Cinnamon

Warm up the milk, pour it into a large bowl and activate the yeast in it -about 10 minutes.
Add the rest of the bun ingredients and mix well.
Knead the dough for 10 minutes, then place the mixture in the bowl and with a damp tea-towel over the top, let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
During this time, make the filling the by mixing the sugar and cinnamon together.
Roll the dough out to about half a cm or a quarter inch thick.
Preheat your oven to 400F.
Spread the butter onto the dough and lightly sprinkle the sugar/cinnamon mix over this.
Now, from the longest edge, roll the dough into a long spiral.
Cut the dough into buns about four-and-a-half cm thick, or one-and-three-quarter inches.
Place on a baking tray and bake for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.

Take the buns out, let them cool for at least 5 minutes because they'll be very hot!
Serve with a nice cup of coffee!
