Sourdough Starter

Making a starter is really easy.

Get a sterilised jar.
Add half a cup of water and half a cup of flour and thoroughly mix.
Let this sit, covered with a a clean dishtowel, a cheesecloth, or simply a coffee filter on top.
Each day add a quarter cup of water and flour and mix it in.
After 3 - 4 days you should see some activity in the jar, bubbles in the mix and on top.
After 4 - 5 days it is ready to use!
