120g Butter
1 1/2 Tbsp Golden Syrup
150g Oatmeal
90g Wholemeal Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
100g Milk Chocolate
Preheat your oven to 350F. Cream the sugar and butter together. Then mix in the syrup, flour, oatmeal, soda, and salt. Once mixed together, the dough should hold together quite easily when hand pressed into little balls. Measure out the dough into 20-25g balls and press these into a round cookie cutter so that they're flat and even and about 5mm thick. Bake for 10 minutes until golden brown then take out and let cool on a drying racket. Separately heat up your chocolate in a double boiler until melted. Then paint the chocolate onto the flat side of the biscuits and let cool.
Enjoy with a nice cup of tea!
